The electronic control installation is for a single frame exposure mode for a cine camera and has the shutter operated by a transistor switch with the solenoid (11') in the collector circuit of the transistor and a control capacitor in the base circuit. The normal load (20') of the capacitor can be bypassed (24) to provide a more rapid exposure cycle. The bypass line is decoupled from the emitter circuit by a diode (25) to block the discharge of the capacitor (17') and to ensure that the transistor is rapidly returned to the operating state after each exposure. The exposure cycle may be short so that special effect exposures can be made.
