PURPOSE:To increase the braking torque in a high-speed region by performing DC all-wave braking by the used of an all-wave rectifier at the time of braking. CONSTITUTION:At the time of power running, switches 21-23 are closed and switches 31-34 are opened. The phases of thyristors 2-4 are controlled, and the power-running torque of an induction motor 1 is controlled. At the time of braking, the thyristor 2 is detriggerred, the switches 21-23 are opened, and the switches 31-34 are closed. AC power is supplied from the R and T phases of a three-phase AC power supply. A unidirectional all-wave rectified current is always supplied to stator winding V and U from the thyristors 3 and 4 and diodes 8 and 9, and the large braking torque can be obtained. |
