<p>An air blower for a fuel fired vehicle heater has the motor shaft surrounded by an axial duct to blow directly into the combustion chamber. The blower blades are set in a ring shaped bearing in the outside edge of the blower housing. The air intake is from the side of the blower by a lateral duct with the impeller duct having extended lips to force an even airstream into the combustion chamber. The cover plate for the impeller has a fuel entry port to spray fuel into the airstream for efficient distribution, with an even air/fuel mixture providing maximum heat output.</p> |
