PURPOSE:To rapidly heat liquid to be measured to predetermined temperature and retain the temperature of the liquid by providing a body through which the liquid to be measured is passed in an enclosed container, a heat source and liquid heat medium for covering the heat source under the container, and two or more temperature-sensitive elements sealed in the container. CONSTITUTION:A cell body 4 through which liquid to be measured is communicated is provided substantially at the center of an enclosed container 1, and is connected to both intake and exhaust tubes 5 and 6. The body 4 thus contains the liquid 7 to be measured. A heater 9 is provided as a heat source under the container 1, and connected to conductors 10, 10' carried by insulating supports 11, 11', respectively. The container 1 contains liquid heat medium 12 in the state, for example, that air contained therein is partly or completely removed therefrom. Thus, heat medium gas is filled in the container 1. The heating temperature of the heater 9 is controlled in response to the signals form temperature-sensitive elements 13, 13'. When the liquid 7 is filled in the body 4 and heated, the liquid 7 is abruptly heated to predetermined temperature to thus remarkably enhance its measuring capacity safely with a simple construction. |
