PURPOSE:To make a check on a keyboard easily by outputting an ISO code by depressing a key, by comparing it with key codes in a code table, and by displaying it on a display part when a corresponding code is found while converting it into an error code and displaying it when not. CONSTITUTION:A test mode is set and a rondom key on keyboard 11 is pushed down to output an 8-bit ISO code, which is sent to code comparator 12, where it is compared with key codes in a code table provided in code comparator 12. When a coincident code is found, the signal is sent to display pattern converter circuit 13 and a display pattern is converted from its original star-shaped symbol to a rectangular symbol, which is displayed at a corresponding position on display part 16 via display control circuit 15. When not, this ISO code is sent to error code converter circuit 14, where it is converted into an error code, which is displayed by display control circuit 15. Consequently, a check on the keyboard can be made easily. |
