PURPOSE:To exactly select a preferable alarm sound to meet a favorite by auditioning the alarm sound to select or specify one of a plurality of alarm sounds. CONSTITUTION:When a counting time 3 becomes coincident to an alarm time 4, a coincidence detection signal 5 is applied to OR gates 14-17, and the output signals from alarm sound producing units 18-21 selected by a decoder 8 are applied to a driver 23 to generate a sound at a speaker 24. When altering the alarm sound, an alarm sound selection switch SW1 is operated while multifunction switch SW2 is ON, and one of the outputs of the decoder 8 is set to ''1'' to thus select the alarm sound. Since the output of the switch SW2 is applied through the OR gates 14-17 to AND gates 10-13, selected alarm sound is produced from the speaker 24. |
