Simulated wooden roof beam for interior decoration - has wood veneer covered foam plastics core secured by spring clips

The imitation wooden beam for interior decoration consists of a plastics foam core (8) of roughly D shaped cross section, with an outer veneer layer (4) with a wood grain finish. The core has a series of open topped chambers (9) separated by a partitions. Embedded in the sides of the chambers are resilient clips (11) projecting inwards so that they can fit over the edges (12) of an inverted U-shaped channel secured the ceiling by screws. The clips have curved arms which lock over the curved channel edges with a locking action.
