<p>PURPOSE:To turn off heaters with good responsiveness at the occurrence of paper clogging by controlling a heater select switch with the detector consisting of guide wires. CONSTITUTION:A guide wire device which is fixed to turnable shaft 25 and which consists of a plurality of wire-form detectors 25 each comprising being bent in hook form at its end 27a and being capable of self-holding that shape is provided between heaters 19, 20 and a guide plate 17. If with this arrangement the copying paper 16 being guided and conveyed by a guide plate 17 causes paper clogging owing to folding or bending of its leading end, the detectors 26 are pushed by the deflection of the copying paper 16 and the ends 27 float by a distance l from a heat insulation cover 23, by which the lever 33 of a heater select switch 32 is operated in the X direction. Hence, the heaters 19, 20 are turned off right after the occurrence of paper clogging.</p> |
