PURPOSE:To secure the highly efficient recognition for each symbol by distinguishing the convex pattern symbol, the closed loop symbol and complicated closed symbol each based on the decision output produced by the closed loop group symbol decision process part and the intra-loop pattern detection process part. CONSTITUTION:Artificial black mesh production circuit part 3 forms the pattern after conversion, and closed loop decision circuit part 4 gives decision to the closed loop group symbol. Intra-loop scanning process circuit part 5 carries out the process, and complicated closed loop decision circuit 6 gives decision to the complicated closed loop. Noise elimination circuit part 7 eliminates the noise, and tangentline histogram production circuit parts 8 and 9 recognized the output shapes of symbols. Squaure shape decision circuit part 10 decide the square shape, and line histogram production circuit parts 11 and 12 produce the histograms each. |
