<p>PURPOSE:To secure the accurate detection for the silence by providing the silence detector featuring the different time constants suited to the reproduction and the high-speed reproduction each. CONSTITUTION:Silence detection circuit 1 detects the silence parts of the magnetic tape, and the silence parts are counted by counter circuit 2. Then a comparison is given between the desired music number memorized in memory circuit 3 and the count value of circuit 2 at gate circuit group 4. And when the coincidence is obtained, the music number is reproduced, and other numbers are put under the high- speed reproduction state. Then retrigger mono-multi 10a featuring the operation time suited to the detection at the reproduction time plus retrigger mono-multi 10b featuring the operation time shorter than 10a and suited to the detection at the high- speed reproduction time are provided to circuit 1 of the automatic music selector device featuring the constitution mentioned above. These two detectors are switched to each other according to the reproduction and the high-speed reproduction, and as a result the misdetection due to the tape running speed can be prevented. Thus the silence parts can be detected accurately for the magnetic tape.</p> |
