A dismountable valve provided at a filling station of a bottle-filling machine is mounted from outside the machine and consists of a sleeve 5 of rubber or like yieldable material fitted on a pipe socket 2, said sleeve having an inwardly directed flange 9 for supporting a valve body 6 formed integrally with an openended tube 10 and a thickened annular portion, the underside of which constitutes a valve seat 12 for said valve body. The valve body has a plurality of radially directed wings 7 which fit inside the lower portion of the pipe socket 2 and maintain the valve body in a centered position. The lower end of the valve body is in the form of a conical valve head 11 adapted to be in sealing engagement with the valve seat. A bottle pushed up against seat 12 causes the part 5 of the sleeve to be pushed upwards and the sleeve to bend about a thin portion 15 between the two flanges. |
