Novel N-[O-alkyl-S-aliphatic(thiono)thiolphosphoryl]iminoformates of the formula (I) in which R represents alkyl having 1 to 6 C atoms, R' represents alkenyl or alkynyl having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, lower-alkyl-mercapto-lower-alkyl or N-alkylcarbamoylmethyl, while Alk represents alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and X is an oxygen or sulphur atom, are obtained when suitable O-alkyl(thiono)thiolphosphoramidates are reacted with alkyl orthoformates. The novel compounds have a powerful insecticidal and acaricidal activity and are therefore used as active substances in insecticides and acaricides.
