PURPOSE:To obtain necessary trace data without intervention of an operator and to prevent the data from being erased due to over-writing at the time of emulating an applied equipment for a long time by providing an address control circuit. CONSTITUTION:A signal on a bus 32 and a setting condition in a register 41 are compared by a comparator 42 in an address control circuit 35 to be provided in an emulator main body 30 and when they are coincident, a coincidence detecting signal C of a low level is outputted. This signal C is delayed for a prescribed time by a delay circuit 43 and a trace control signal TE of the low level is outputted to an AND gate 44 and supplied to a CPU 36 for control as well. When trace end is detected by the signal TE, the trace data before and after the establishment of the condition are read from a trace memory 34 by the CPU 36 and transmitted to a host computer 1. Thus, at the time of emulating the applied equipment for a long time, the necessary trace data are obtained without the operator standing between and the data can be prevented from being erased due to over-writing of a memory. |
