PURPOSE:To finish end part of hollow ornamental braid which is generally put in use for vehicles with minimum labor and low cost by injection molding wherein hollow ornamented braid is inserted into and pinched by metallic mold, and then molding substance is injected so as to fill and section of the ornamental braid. CONSTITUTION:Semi-product of hollow ornamented braid 1 having hollow section 3 and an aperture 4 is first inserted into and pinched by metallic mold consisting of male mold 6 and female mold 8. In this case, the aperture 4 has a pin pushed thereinto and one end of the hollow section 3 has been closed by a plug 5. Thereafter, molding substance is injected through gate 11 into mold cavity 12 so as to be fully filled therein, resulting in completed hollow ornamental braid provided with rew end section of predetermined configuration. |
