A decentralised system of power supply is based on a great number of smaller power stations which are based on >=3 of the following sources of energy: (a) fossil energy (oil, natural gas), using waste heat for space heating, (b) farmyard manure gas, (c) sewage and fermentation gas, (d) incineration of domestic and industrial waste, (e) solar heat collectors, (f) heat pumps for deep boreholes or surface water. This supplies the energy needed for the future from mostly renewable sources and requires no nuclear power stations which disturb the ecology.
|
