<p>"AIDS FOR DISABLED PERSONS An aid device is provided for a disabled person's bed and comprises an elongated member for transverse location beneath the mattress of the bed and a respective elongated grip arm at each end of the elongated member,which extends upwardly adjacent a respective side of the mattress of the bed when the elongated member is located therebeneath. The elongated member is provided a respective end portion extending laterally of each grip arm and a lever arm portion extending laterally from each end portion and from a point on the latter remote from its grip arm. A connecting portion which interconnects the lever arm portions is provided at respective locations remote from the end portions.</p> |
