<p>The skateboard has at least one set of wheels (5) which are equipped with brakes. They are fixed under a plate (17), with regard to which the board (1) can slide vertically. The plate has two rods (3a) passing vertically through it which are connected to a frame (3) fixed under the board. Springs (18) are mounted round the rods and tend to hold the board in a high position. Brake shoes (22) are fixed to oblique levers (20) which are articulated to the plate and board and are released when the user's weight is on the board and the springs compressed.</p> |
