Grids or panels in a flat-roof construction are made height-adjustable, using a cylindrical block, intermediate spacer rings, and a threaded support head. The height adjustable support e.g. of Aluminium Polyvinylchloride or Polypropylene, has a support head (2), an adjusting nut (3), two intermediate spacer rings (4,5) and a base (6). The support head has a hollow cylindrical body (7) with an external thread (8) and an enclosed top (9).
