The device is for pressing in V-shaped belt connections with lugs, in which the points of one or more hook arms enter. Press jaws have central grooves for the hook arms, the upper edges of which are inclined. The grooves (2, 4) of the lower pressing-in stage have two different cross sections over their length. The part (2) of the groove on the hook entry side has a strongly phased upper edge, whilst the other groove part (14) has parallel side surfaces to the wire dia. One part of the groove has parallel side surfaces at 80 deg. (with a 2 deg. deviation) to the engagement surface. |
