PURPOSE:To realize an automatic input of the date and time information (watch information) and thus to realize the simplification or automation for the initial program load operation by providing the watch mechanism which performs the timing operation by the no-break power source. CONSTITUTION:External watch mechanism 5 which operates by battery 6 is prepared and connected to monitor processor via the 2nd signal line group. At the same time, change-over switch 10 is provided to processor 1 to carry out the switching between the use of the information of mechanism 5 and the input of the watch information from consol unit 4 via the operator at the initial program load IPL time. In addition, processor 1 is connected to basic processor 2, main memory 3 and others via the 1st signal line group, i.e., data bus BUSO, address bus ADRO and strobe STRO each. On the other hand, internal watch mechanism 20 is provided within processor 2 to offer a series of watch information for the program, and the system data and watch information supplied from unit 4 via the operator at the IPL time are set to mechanism 20. |
