Replaceable king-pin for utility vehicle - has enlarged wider upper end giving accurate axial location

The modified kingpin is designed for use on an utility vehicle. There is a single shaft with the upper bearing end having a wider diameter held in bearing shells (10, 11) in the axle support (9). The chassis support (2) is secured over the middle section and a retaining washer holds the axial setting under the widened end. The kingpin provides a simple end and strong bearing with the widened upper end preventing axial displacement. The structure is readily replaced when worn with no special location control required.
