Binding tape for insulating electric motors by the impregnation process consists of a porous support, mica and an oxyamine adhesive resin (I). The improvement is that (I) is mixed with a polyepoxide cpd. (I), which does not react with (I). Pref. (II) is a ring-epoxidised cycloaliphatic cpd. esp. a carboxylate-based polyepoxide. Processability and impregnation (flow and cure properties) are satisfactory. The mica paper is bonded firmly to the support.
