<p>A machine for folding, supple sheets, such as bed sheets, effects mechanical folding in one operation, using a single folding position. The use of a single position is an improvement on known machines where each folding operation requires its own folding position. The material is wound on itself and the roll is afterwards flattened. Use of the machine of the invention reduces staffing requirements, and it is less costly to install than more complex equipment.</p> |
