PURPOSE:To control the operation of each part, readily detect paper clogging of each section and improve copying performance by letting the sections between a plurality of paper detecting means provided on the conveying path for paper be charged by a plurality of counters and having timing signals counted by these. CONSTITUTION:A clock pulse generator 15 which operates upon starting of copying and generates clock pulses of a fixed pertiod is provided. A plurality of paper detecting means 11, 12 are provided at a suitable spacing on the conveying path of paper 26 and a plurality of counter menas 16 thru 18 are provided in correspondence to each of the paper conveying paths segmented by these. The outputs of these counter means 16 thru 18 are led to, e.g., the exposure control signal making circuit 211, paper feed control signal making circuit 212, transfer control signal making circuit 213... of a control signal making circuit 21, whereby the operation timing signals of the respective part mechanisms are made. |
