PURPOSE:To prevent noise and damage as well as disaster due to broken pieces of damaged parts of windmill operating in a strong wind by lowering windmill into windbreak. CONSTITUTION:When wind guage WG indicates wind speed more than a predetermined value, wind wheel F for wind generator is lowered into windbreak WB by lift means L controlled by controller C. When wind guage WG indicates wind speed less than the predetermined value, wind wheel F is raised out of windbreak WB by the lift means L under control of the controller C. Therefore, noise, damage, and disaster due to broken pieces of damaged parts of windmill in a strong wind can be prevented. In addition, since a plurarity of slots SL formed on windbreak WB can be opened and closed by slotted shutter SH so as to regulate wind therethrough, even when wind wheel F is stored in windbreak WB, wind wheel F can be rotated if desired so as to serve as a driver for generator. |
