PURPOSE:To make it possible to compensate automatically the offset voltage of a voltage comparator circuit without any external electronic part other than monolithic IC elements by feeding back the compensating voltge to one end of the comparator. CONSTITUTION:Voltage comparator A compares two input voltages at a latch enable pulse P2 applied time. Switches S11 and S12 which are turned on and off by driving pulse P1 and inversion P1 are connected to non-inversion input terminal + of voltage comparator A, and S12 is connected to the input signal source which is an object of comparison. Meanwhile, switch S62 which is turned on and off by pulse inversion P2 and capacitor C6 are connected to inversion input terminal -, and further, switch S61 whitch is driven by pulse P6 and capacitor C1 are connected to the other end of S62. A value obtained by compensating the offset voltage of comparator A is generated as the output voltage of compensating voltage generation circuit CMP. |
