<p>A flat rectangular frame supports parallel saw blades, and is secured to four similar arms, fixed to points at its top part, and performing pendulum movements in relation to the chassis. There are kinematic couplings between the arms and the frame, generating together with the arms movement an oscillating movement which takes place over a central section about the equilibrium position along a path flatter than would be followed by the frame if the arms were simply hinged to it. Each kinematic coupling comprises a first cylindrical pin, whose axis is stationary in relation to the frame, and which moves on a cylindrical surface whose axis is stationary in relation to the arm and at right angles to the plane which the pendulum movement takes place. A second cylindrical pin has its axis stationary in relation to the arm and moving in a plane at right angles to the frame.</p> |
