<p>The arrangement is intended for producing electrical energy by a water wheel driving a generator and itself driven by surf waves. The water wheel is arranged in a region of deeper water near the shore. A plate inclined towards the shore is positioned below the wheel at a short distance above the sea-bed. The wheel is rotated by the surf breakers generated by the plate which, on return, pass below the wheel so that they do not affect its rotation. The plate may consist of two overlapping section.</p> |
