PURPOSE:To ensure irradiation of the equal optical energy through division of the light from the light source into two parts and by using the beam splitter which is the reflection surface formed by combining the two rotary oval surfaces using the slit as a common focus along with the measuring sample and the reference sample used as the other focus each. CONSTITUTION:The intermittent beams given from the light source are divided into two luminous fluxes to irradiate the measuring sample and the reference sample which are stored in the photoacoustic detector each. In such photoacoustic analyzer, the beam splitter is formed with the reflector 13 featuring the rotary oval surface formed by 1st and 2nd reflectors MS1 and MS2. Part of the monochrome beam emitted from slit 11 which is the common focus of reflectors MS1 and MS2 is reflected by MS1 to be irradiated to measuring sample 17. While the rest half of the monochrome beam is reflected by MS2 to be irradiated to reference sample 19. |
