Biologically active pellets or granules are made by incorporating with a biologically active material and a carrier, a mixture of a di- or polyisocyanate or a pre-polymer thereof and one or more compounds having an active hydrogen atom, especially water or an organic di- or poly-hydroxy or amino compound, capable of undergoing polycondensation, granulating or pelleting the mixture obtained and allowing the pellets or granules to harden. The biologically active material is preferably an insecticide, herbicide, fungicide, nematocide, algicide, plant growth regulant or fertiliser, and the products of the process may be used in combating pest on plants, especially in rice fields. |
