PURPOSE:To enable the controlled programming of a complex process form, by means of enabling a running direction to be changed by a wire guide arranged at a body to be processed, in a wire electrode which penetrates and runs through the body to be processed. CONSTITUTION:A body to be processed 101 is mounted on a surface plate which descibes the same motion locus as a processing form required by the controller. A wire guide rotation device 18 is so regulated as that a processing part 102 of the body to be processed may be positioned in the middle of an upper wire guard 7 and a lower wire guard 8. The center 70 of the curvature of the lower wire guard 8 supported by a supporter 45 is positioned lower than a lower limit 71 of a processing part 103, and a radius of curvature r is set smaller than a height h from the surface of non-processing part 103 up to a low limit 71 of the processing part 102. The body to be processed 101 is moved by means of taking a described motion locus, and electrical discharge is carried out in a part 1B. |
