The back massaging device to enable the spinal region to be massaged has a plate with a brush attached to each end. At a point nearer the lower brush, two arms slope outwards and rearwards, each with a further brush mounted at its end. Also near the junction of the arms with the central part are two spaced apart blocks acting as bearings for a handle with its ends projecting outwards at right angles to the central axis. The positions of the first two brushes can be altered along the central axis. Also the position of the two bearing blocks can be adjusted parallel to the central axis.
