<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the land and equipment costs of a sewage treating apparatus and to enhance the treating efficiency thereof by combining an aeration vessel to be supplied with high concn. O2 and sewage with a reaction separating vessel provided with a special partition wall, a mixed liquid inflow pipe. etc. CONSTITUTION:Sewage is spouted into aeration vessel 5 from pump 9 through nozzle 8, and high concn. O2 is simultaneously spouted into vessel 5 through blower 3 and bubbler 4. The sewage rises together with sludge aerated with the O2, and the mixed liquid is introduced into the bottom part of V-shape reaction separating vessel 21 through rising pipe 12. In vessel 21 the liquid rises toward the upper part of partition wall 28 at a rising rate above 10cm/min while reversing, the flow rate of the liquid decreases at the upper part of vessel 22, and the liquid is separated into treated water and sludge. The sludge is flocked and interferencesettled. Part of the settled sludge is drawn into vessel 5, and excess sludge is pulled out of valve 24. The treated water reaches drain ditches 26, 26'. As a result, the area of the water surface of vessel 21 can be reduced remarkably, and a final settling tank is made unnecessary.</p> |
