The tunnelling machine has bearing blocks to accommodate roller drilling tools on both sides, mounted on the arms which protude outwards in a star pattern on the rotating drilling head. Park of each bearing block (5), on the front internal faces of the drill head arms (7), protrudes with effective peripheral sections beyond the periphery of the head (1) on the rock face side. The blocks may have a sloping face (9) inclined both along and across the plane in the direction of drilling, with tools rotary axis (10) parallel to it.
