<p>Marking devices are provided on a height-adjustable part of the smoothing board, transversely to the road. The relative heigh of these, relative to corresponding indicators on the machine, serving as fixed points, are determinable by means of metering devices. The marks are pref. provided on a piston-rod belonging to the board, and indicators on the correspondingly hydraulic cylinder. This facilitates continuous and precise measurement while lying is in progress.</p> |
