PURPOSE:To provide the title device, which is provided with a special comparator circuit, which compares reference voltage and battery voltage, and at the same time, a control circuit for driving the printer, and thereby, driving of the printer under improper battery voltage conditions is avoided and power consumption is reduced. CONSTITUTION:The voltage of battery 1 is made into a fixed reference voltage by reference voltage generator 2. This voltage is compared with the voltage of battery 1 by voltage comparator 3. Control unit 4, which produces a detection timing signal before producing a printer driving signal ON, outputs a signal for voltage comparison, and the signal detected by circuit 3 is output to printer driving control unit 5. When control unit 5 receives a signal indicating that the battery voltage has fallen below a fixed value, it does not actuate the printer. When it receives a signal indicating that the battery voltage is above a fixed value, it actuates printer driving unit 7 by means of driving unit driver 6, and thereby printer driving control is turned ON. |
