The cutting arrangement consists of two discs (24, 26) the cutting edges of which overlap and driven by means of two toothed belts. The top disc is driven via a universal coupling. The pivot shaft of the top disc is mounted with a bearing (74) in a bracket with three arms (78). The ends of these arms are kept centralised between two spring-loaded pins. The position of the pins can be adjusted by means of nuts (90, 92). When the cutters are used to cut plastic foil, the top cutter is tilted by adjusting the stops.
