INPUT WEIGHTING SYSTEM FOR CHARGE TRANSFER TYPE TRANSVERSAL FILTER

PURPOSE:To secure the free setting of both the polarity and the amplitude of the signal charge by providing the two sets of the input weighting means featuring the variable charge storage and opposing to the input signal and the inverse input signal to each step. CONSTITUTION:Input signal vin receives piling of bias voltage VB and is then supplied to signal charge implanting means 12 of one side of each step through terminal 11 to be supplied to the electrode corresponding to the capacity via electrode 13 corresponding to the sampler. While reverse input signal Vin receives piling of DC bias VB and is then supplied to signal charge input means 12' of the other side of each step via terminal 11' to be supplied to variable capacity 14' through electrode 13' corresponding to the sampler. These capacities 14 and 14' vary according to control voltage Vhk+ and Vhk- which are supplied via terminals 15 and 15', and the signal charge supplied to capacities 14 and 14' are added by the charge transfer element via electrodes 16 and 16' corresponding to the samplers. Accordingly, the polarity and the amplitude of the signal charge can be selected freely by the scale relation between capacities 14 and 14'.
