PURPOSE:A resin composition having improved thermal stability, comprising a copolymer prepared by grafting vinyl chloride onto a polymer having a plasticizing action on polyvinyl chloride resin and a composite sulfate of Pb-Ba-Si. CONSTITUTION:A heat-resistant resin composition prepared by incorporating (A) a copolymer obtained through grafting of vinyl chloride onto a polymer, e.g. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, as a base polymer having a plasticizing action on polyvinyl chloride resin with (B) a composite sulfate of Pb-Ba-Si, and, if necessary, (C) a crosslinking agent, e.g. trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, and by forming free radicals with electron radiation. The amount of (B) is 20 parts by wt. or more per 100 parts by wt. of (A). |
