PURPOSE:A cosmetic composition that contains dyes that change in color as the passage of time when they contact with air, thus permitting the visual determination of the application hour of the cosmetics. CONSTITUTION:Dyes whose colors changes with the passage of time by the oxidation and reduction reaction in the air are added, thus producing cosmetic composition as oral composition as teeth paste, false tooth cleaner, or shampoo, depilatory cream, shaving cream. The dyes means those, after exposed to the air, changes the color by oxidation, e.g., Direct blue-86 (phthalocyanin dye), which shows violet when reduced with neutral Na2S2O4 and blue when oxidized with oxygen in the air. The use of dyes can prevent the too short application time of cosmetics. |
