<p>The rope winch is for use with cars and small commercial vehicles stuck in snowdrifts, field etc. It comprises two plates (1, 7) secured together by bolts (5) round which a rope is wound, a ring on the end of the rope being passed over one of the bolts or hooked over the end of the outer plate. This assembly is secured by sleeves to the vehicle wheel nuts, the latter acting as driving members.</p> |
