<p>PURPOSE:To obtain reclaimed article having improved mechanical strength, heat distortion temperature, creep resistance and heat distortion cut-through temperature, by adding finely divided filler to waste soft polyvinyl chloride article contg. plasticizer and milling the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A reclaimed article is obtained by adding finely divided filler having an oil absorpiton of above 150ml of DOP per 1000g of the filler to waste soft polyvinyl chloride article contg. >=5% by weight of plasticizer and milling the mixture. The waste soft polyvinyl chloride such as agricultural vinyl sheet may be treated as such without extracting and removing the plasticizer. When more than 5% by weight, particularly 5-15% of plasticizers such as dibutyl phthalate, dihexyl phthalate contained in the waste article is removed by using an organic solvent and the resulting material is used, a reclaimed molded article having greatly improved mechanical strength, etc. can be obtained.</p> |
