The device for improving the heat output of radiators is fitted in the region of the top end of the radiator (1) and this deflects towards the room, the warm air which rises at the front of the radiator. There is a selectively adjustable baffle (9a) to regulate the amount of air deflected towards the room. Specifically, the top region (1A) of the panel radiator (1) projects room wards relative to the middle region.
