PURPOSE:To enable a grinding material to move in quick response at the time of restarting immediately after emergency stop in the line in such a way that when coating film on the automobile body, etc. is ground by pushing a grinding material with use of a weight, negative pressure is produced as the grinding material takes shelter into the lower chamber of a shelter cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When emergency stop is involved in the line, an air cylinder 20 extends a roller support 19, a roller arm 15 turns against a thrust weight 17, and support arm 3 turns a support shaft 4 to make a grinding material 5 to retreat. In the meantime, an arm 29 turns, a piston 27 is forced upward, and negative pressure is produced in the lower chamber of a hydraulic cylinder 24. Immediately after emergency stop, when operation is resumed, the air cylinder 20 contracts the roller support 19, connection of the support arm 3 and an arm support shaft 8 is released, the grinding material 5 is pushed to the automobile body W by working force of the thrust weight 17 when grinding starts up. On the other hand, negative pressure in the lower chamber of the hydraulic cylinder 24 sucks the piston 27 downward, to assist in quickening responding action of the grinding material 5. |
