<p>The appliance is for preparing hot sandwiches, for example hot-dogs, consisting of a slice of bread and a sausage inside. The appliance has a profiled piece made of thermally conducting material and incorporating a heater, onto which the bread slice is placed. The profiled piece has an inside elongated cavity (8) for the sausage. The heater consists of electric resistors (9) mounted inside the profiled part between the outer surface and the inner cavity (8). The cavity is connected to the outside by a number of holes, and a lengthwise slit (13). The inner cavity (8) is accessible by means of a pivoting shutter(12).</p> |
