Door for relatively large rooms such as a hall, is composed of several sections or leaves which are superposed in closed position and engage one another. Each leaf consists of a frame surrounding transparent or translucent plate which has a marginal groove into which a holding flange of the frame engages. The width of the groove is equal to that of the flange. A sealing strip is fitted into the groove. The component leaves may be made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastics, e.g. acrylic resin.
