<p>The medical spray for the mouth or the eyes, has a delivery tube (6) to which liquid is supplied under pressure, with a set of jet holes (9, 10) at the end. The holes may be two in number in line with the axis of the tube, or further holes may be included. The two holes of a pair may slope towards one another so as to form two jets which converge at a single point (11). The delivery tube may form part of an assembly with a liquid container, a pump and a motor mounted on a common base. The inside of the delivery tube may be shaped to ensure a pulsating flow. The tube is made of a material aali to withstand a sterilising temperature of 185 deg.C.</p> |
