Switch plate connection for gramophone record deck - uses helical springs to permit lateral movement for switch alignment with bore in lower plate

The arrangement is intended for connecting flat components arranged one (3) at a distance above another (1) e.g. a switch plate (1) of a gramophone player. The plates (1, 3) are connected via helical springs (5) permitting relative lateral movement between them to align e.g. a switch (14) knob (13) with a bore (15). The springs may be secured by screw bolts extending through the plates and tightly held by the springs. A third component (17) may be arranged above the two plates and firmly located in lateral direction by a pin connecting the component with the upper plate.
