The device uses sizing of water trap colume and head to provide pocket of CO2 saturated water which communicates with the main water body. Venting is provided for excess CO2 and lighter waste gases. Dispensing of CO2 can be from gas bottles, yeast fermentation or chemical reaction. The device prevents over or under dosing and consequent problems with plants or fish over range of conditions.
