Compact power unit for lorry - has vertical engine between cab and load bed in enclosed chamber over transmission

The compact mounting for the lorry engine has the block vertical in a container (3) between the rear of the cab and front of the load section. The engine is set over the transmission (6) which is located in an L-shaped addition to the container. The block is turned sideways for a flat, compact mounting. Noise and fume emission are reduced using an encapsulated fitting. The engine is mounted high and enables the vehicle to be semi amphibious.
